How do I calculate annual leave for part of a year?
Multiply the annual entitlement by the fraction of the leave year worked. Seven months out of twelve gives 7 ÷ 12 of the annual allowance.
Is leave rounded up or down?
This calculator keeps two decimal places. Your employer may apply the rounding rule stated in its contract or payroll policy, so compare the unrounded result with the figure you were given.
